Water Keys - Now that the water is off, Kevin has collected the keys that need to be fixed, and will have them back to BLE once adjustments are completed.  

If for any reason there is some need for one, there is a spare key at the caretakers cabin under the Sat phone.

Just an update and reminder that our 2025 AGM is scheduled for Saturday, December 6 at 10am. It will be held as an oline meeting. Primary shareholders should have received an AGM package from Royal Le Page by email.

AGM REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED BY THURSDAY DECEMBER 4 AT 4PM. Details on how to register for the AGM are in the package sent to your primary shareholder. Only one email address can register per lot.

1. 2025 AGM is scheduled for December 6. Please keep an eye on your inbox for your AGM package.

2. A number of board members will be stepping down after this year’s AGM. We will need at least 3-4 new volunteers to step up at or before the AGM.

3. Water shut off is scheduled for October 28. This date could be earlier if the forecast is for temperatures that could potentially freeze our water system.

4. Pete, our caretaker for the last 4 years, will not be returning to BLE next spring.

New water valve keys

Everyone whose lot got new water shut off valves in our recent water piping replacement project received a key that is to be used to turn the water on and off for their lot.

For most lots, the key works just fine, but there are some lots where the shut off valve is deeper in the ground and the keys are not long enough to reach the valve without a significant reach into the hole.

If your lot has one of these deeper valves, please let the board know this week, and we will order longer keys for those share lots. You can email BLE.board.water@gmail.com with your name and lot number. The keys will be ordered August 25, so be sure to let us know this week if you need one.
