Here is your 2025 AGM date and other important year-end news
2025 AGM is scheduled for December 6. Please keep an eye on your inbox for your AGM package that will come from Royal Le Page in the coming month.
Speaking of the AGM, we will have a number of board members stepping down after this year’s AGM. We will need at least 3-4 new volunteers to step up at or before the AGM. Board members do not need to be shareholders, but just need to be interested in helping our community the best it can be. Consider volunteering yourself or talk to friends or family members who would be a good fit about joining our board.
Water shut off is scheduled for October 28. This date could be earlier if the forecast is for temperatures that could potentially freeze our water system. If an early shut-off is expected, we will put signs on the gate and update the website as soon as we can. Be aware that weather can change quickly or there may be a day or 2 of lag time on the website, so keep an eye on temps and be prepared that the water could be shut off if the weather gets too cold.
Pete, our caretaker for the last 4 years, will not be returning to BLE next spring. If you know anyone who would be interested and who you think could fill his shoes, please reach out to the board.
