Campfires
Effective on Thursday July 16, 2026, at 12 p.m., the Category 1 - Campfire will be prohibited in the Sea to Sky.
Additional restricted activities and equipment
The following activities and use of equipment, materials and substances are also prohibited throughout the Coastal Fire Centre:
Fireworks, as defined in the Fireworks Act of BC
Binary exploding targets
Sky Lanterns
Burn barrels or burn cages of any size or description
Controlled air incinerators
Air curtain burners
Carbonizers
Wood fired hot tubs, wood fired pizza ovens and other wood fired devices unless vented through a structure that has a flue and is incorporated in a building.

Water system
Effective June 12, 2026 — The water system is on and potable.
Water system typically runs from early May to the end of October, with weather forecast/freezing temperatures dictating exact start and end dates each season
Monitor this site or posted notices for any changes in system status.
Please be vigilant for leaks on your property. If any are found, please let the caretaker know and turn off water/repair as soon as possible.
