Autumn at BLE
Birkenhead Lake Estates – Fall Update
As we head into fall, here are a few important dates and updates for Birkenhead Lake Estates.
BC Wildfire Pile Burning
BC Wildfire Service crews from the Pemberton Fire Zone will begin pile burning along the northwest boundary of Birkenhead Lake Estates as part of the ongoing fuel reduction project in the area. The work is expected to continue for several weeks. Residents and visitors may notice smoke from the burn piles. Depending on site conditions and crew assessments, piles may be left to burn overnight if it is deemed safe to do so.
Community Burn Pit
The community burn pit will start burning on Thursday October 8th.
Water Shutdown
The community water system will be shut down on October 12th due to dropping temperatures and the availability of volunteers to complete the seasonal shutdown.
AGM
Save the Date! The Birkenhead Lake Estates Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday, December 5th, 2026.
Thank you to all the volunteers who help keep Birkenhead Lake Estates running smoothly. We appreciate your time and continued support. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Autumn!
Thank you, Birkenhead Lake Estates Board
